The Drill Press Table Build

Could your drill press use a little help in the shop? I think most can and I think that this simple yet effective project is just the ticket.

In this video I design and build a drill press table featuring a custom fence, various storage options, interchangeable work tops, and integrated dust collection. This design is meant to work for just about any shop and can be customized to perfectly fit your needs.

I'm very happy with the end product and have already found myself using it a LOT. The design calls for a minimal amount of wood that you probably have laying around your shop so why not make use of it! Using the full-color plans I created I built this project in a matter of hours.

We explore a couple of different options for a fence and even discuss some bonus "add-ons" to incorporate on your drill press to make it that much more effective. It's easy to neglect the drill press in your shop but it's time you give it the attention it deserves!

I did leverage some ideas I found from another design so I'd like to recognize that here:
