There is some very exciting news that I'd like to share - we bought a house! As many of you know my wife, son, and I just relocated from Texas to Ohio. Part of that transition included a rental house while we searched for the right house/area for us. After a couple of months of searching we found a house we absolutely love...and the best part is there is serious shop potential.
The house has a very nice 3-car garage, which will serve as the temporary home for my shop, but the final solution will be a complete shop build on the property. That is right, I am going to have a dedicated workshop built! I'm excited to start but also dreading the process because I know it will be long (and expensive!). I will do a complete build series on the shop starting at the brainstorming/design phase.
